Palworld dungeon locations: All known Caves and where to find them

Palworld has an open world map filled with areas to explore, objectives to complete, and secrets to discover—including hundreds of Dungeons. These Dungeons are a great place to grind for rare loot but locating and exploring them can be a pain if you don’t know where to look. 

Palworld doesn’t force your hand when it comes to exploration but does reward you for going out of your way when trekking across the map. Dungeons are one such bonus, loading you into an ever-changing set of caves that are tricky to navigate and filled with enemies, hidden Pals, and bosses. These are also important areas because you can grind rare resources like Ancient Civilization Parts or Slab Fragments for Raids inside.

All Cave and Dungeon locations in Palworld

Here is a full list of every Dungeon location we have discovered in Palworld, with more being added if new caves are discovered. Just remember that every Dungeon is unique based on its type, can spawn at any of these locations, and has a set difficulty level.

For every Dungeon listed across all of Palworld’s regions, we have marked its approximate, or very close to it, location on the map and listed coordinates for each. You can easily find and mark these exact locations on your map since coordinates are displayed on the bottom right when you open it in-game.

All hill Cave and Dungeon locations in Windswept Hills

We have found 15 dungeon locations in the Windswept Hills area of Palworld, all of which range in the level 13 area for bosses. This will be the first area you spawn, so make sure to prepare before going in.

Once you stray from the mainland area, you can find seven dungeons spread throughout Marsh Island and Eastern Wind Island. You can find the dungeons at the following coordinates:

There are six dungeon locations on Ice Wind Island and the Forgotten Island on the Palworld map. You can find the dungeons at the following coordinates:

All island Cave and Dungeon locations in the Sea Breeze Archipelago

There are currently six Dungeons located in the Sea Breeze Archipelago, which is an easy-to-explore area located to the west of where you originally spawn. You can find the dungeons at the following coordinates:

We have found 29 dungeon locations in the combined Bamboo Groves and Moonless Shore areas in the middle of Palworld’s map. This will be the first area you spawn, so make sure to prepare before going in.

Located to the north of the starting area, this mix of forested and mountainous land has 15 Dungeons. You can find the dungeons at the following coordinates:

Exploring the far-out sands of the Dessicated Desert and Twilight Dunes will lead you to 15 Dungeons. You can find the dungeons at the following coordinates:

All volcano Cave and Dungeon locations in Mount Obsidian

We have located 15 different Dungeons in the area surrounding Mount Obsidian, though this is one of the harder places to search around due to the higher-level enemies and rough terrain. If you plan on exploring here, make sure to bring some gear that’s resistant to high temperatures.

There are 15 Dungeons spread throughout this icy biome near the top of the Palworld map. This is also arguably the most difficult area to explore because the level recommendations reach the mid-40s. You can find the dungeons at the following coordinates:

Palworld dungeon levels and types

All Palworld dungeons are ordered in tiers, and depending on which type you tackle, you may encounter a specific Alpha Pal. Since dungeons in Palworld don’t always spawn at every location, they may occur at different points in a particular region. Yet, the region will, for the most part, be predetermined based on the dungeon type.

Here’s an overview of the dungeon levels and where you can encounter them:

Note that we didn’t list every Pal that can be found in these dungeons, since that would make the list overly long and varies greatly.

If you visit any of these locations and don’t find a dungeon to explore, return another time. Dungeons appear in set locations but rotate periodically, so check back regularly. I recommend using the fastest Palworld mounts, like Direhowl, to travel around if you’re planning to hit several dungeons in a row, as this can significantly reduce the time spent traveling between them.
