Starfield’s Bounty Clearance Kiosks, explained

Whether it’s theft, smuggling, or causing harm, you might find a bounty on your name in Bethesda’s latest game. Luckily, the Trackers Alliance Bounty Clearance Kiosks offer a quick and easy way to put a life of crime behind you. Just visit one, clear your record, and continue your cosmic adventure with a clean slate.

Once you find a Bounty Clearance Kiosk, you can view all the bounties against your name and see how many credits it will take to clear them. Sure, it might cost a tad more than settling them, but convenience has its price, and it’s better than being jailed. Just make sure you know where to find these kiosks.

There’s a catch though. You cannot clear a bounty while in the space occupied by the faction you have an active bounty with. If you’re in trouble with the United Colonies, go to a Freestar Collective zone to pay off your bounty and vice versa. Alternatively, you can build an Outpost and a Kiosk in a neutral area.

All Bounty Clearance Kiosks have a consistent design, mirroring the look of a traditional ATM. This standardized appearance makes them easy to spot, whether in a bustling city or a remote outpost.
