How to get Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Maps in Final Fantasy XIV

The Treasure Maps you can find in Final Fantasy XIV are extremely valuable. They appear at least once daily and offer a chance at various rare items you can only loot. For those in the Dawntrail expansion, you’ll likely be hunting down a Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Map.

There are a few ways you can get a Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Map. They have to do with the non-combat roles introduced in the game, which means you shouldn’t expect to find them as a piece of loot or dropping off standard enemies. Instead, they appear out in the wild at specific locations in Dawntrail, but it’s easy to miss them. Here’s what you need to know about how to get Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Maps in FFXIV.

Where to get Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Maps in Final Fantasy XIV

The Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Map can appear in the Dawntrail expansion. Your character must be a level 100 of any Disciple of Land profession, such as a Botanist, Fisher, or Mining. With this profession, you need to track down any of the level 100 harvesting nodes in the Dawntrail regions for a chance to have the Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Map appear when harvesting from these locations in Final Fantasy XIV.

These are the regions where a level 100 node can appear for any of the Disciple of Land professions in FFXIV:

• Heritage Found
• Living Memory
• Shaaloani

The chances of having a Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Map appear on a harvesting node are similar to the other Treasure Map in this expansion, the Timeworn Loboskin. A level 100 node only appears briefly before disappearing, and you’ll have to wait before they respawn. They should continue to appear in the same area, though.

After looting any Treasure Map at least once, another does not have a chance to appear until 18 hours of real time. After the timer has disappeared, there’s an opportunity for you to get any type of Treasure Map in Final Fantasy XIV.

Timeworn Br’aaxskin Treasure Maps are more dangerous than the Loboskin version. You won’t be able to complete them by yourself. Instead, I recommend you gather up a group of eight FFXIV players at level 100 Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic professions and attempt to complete them. After defeating all enemies, all party members can loot from the chest and roll on the various exclusive rewards for completing these Treasure Maps.
