How to complete Dreamlight Gastronomy in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Tiana is hoping to recruit some skilled chefs to help out with her stall in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but most characters don’t know much about cooking. To teach the villagers about cooking, Tiana recruits you to help her in the Dreamlight Gastronomy quest.

Cooking can be quite tricky, so this quest unsurprisingly features quite a few tough tasks to navigate. It’s an important one to finish if you want to build your relationship with Tiana, so here’s how to complete Dreamlight Gastronomy in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Dreamlight Gastronomy guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To finish the Dreamlight Gastronomy quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you need to help Tiana host a cooking class and competition for some valley villagers and decide on a winner at the end of it. There are lots of tasks to work through in this quest, so here’s a complete breakdown of everything you need to do.

• Rally villagers for Tiana.
• Prepare ingredients.
• Gather Seafood Boil ingredients.
• Make a Sandwich Board.
• Take a picture of the meals.
• Taste the meals.
• Choose a winner.

Recruit Villagers to participate in Tiana’s culinary contest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To begin this adventure, you need to find some villagers willing to participate in Tiana’s class and competition. Tiana asks you to find and chat with:

• Woody
• Mike
• Mulan
• Anna
• Kristoff

Out of these five, only Mike, Anna, and Kristoff are up for participating, but three is all you need. With the contestants informed, head over to Remy’s house, which is located wherever you previously chose to have it placed in the valley. If you’re unsure where you built his house, look on your map for a purple circle highlighting its location and talk to Tiana once you’re inside.

Use your Royal Tools to prepare the various ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Before the cooking can begin, Tiana needs you to prepare some ingredients using your Royal Tools. To complete this step, you need to:

• Chop and gather Potatoes and Corn by striking them with your Royal Pickaxe. Once you’re done, pick them up.
• Wash and collect the Herbs by using your Royal Watering Can to clean them. After cleaning them, pick them up.

You can find the ingredients you need to prepare near the east end of Remy’s house. The Potatoes and Corn are inside some barrels while the Herbs are sitting on some plates on the ground right in front of them.

Gather Seafood Boil ingredients in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The other three ingredients you need to gather for Tiana have to be caught from around the valley. You need to obtain two Crabs, two Shrimp, and two Lobsters to progress. All six have to be caught fresh, which means you can’t bring Tiana any you may have stored away.

After catching all six Seafood you need, make sure you have all of them plus the Potatoes, the Corn, and the Herbs in your inventory. Once you do, return to Remy’s house to give them to Tiana.

For once, you don’t have to do any cooking here and you instead just get to enjoy a meal. Consume the Seafood Boil Tiana gives you to progress and talk with her right after you eat it.

Craft a Sandwich Board in Disney Dreamlight Valley

It’s finally time for the completion portion to begin, so the next step is to craft a Sandwich Board that can be used to display the winning meal. To make a Sandwich Board, you need:

• 15 Stone
• 10 Wheat
• 20 Hardwood
• Five Eggs

Once you have this sign made, return to Remy’s and talk with Tiana again. The cooking competition can now begin which means it’s time for you to judge the meals.

Take a picture of everyone with their meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Before you get to taste the dishes, you need to take a picture of the contestants with their meals. Equip your Phone from the Royal Tool wheel and snap a picture of Anna, Kristoff, and Mike near the dishes they made.

Taste everyone’s meal in Disney Dreamlight Valley

It’s finally time to taste the meals, so pick up Mike’s Okra Soup, Anna’s Fish Creole, and Kristoff’s Beignets from the table near the counter. Access your inventory to eat each one.

After tasting the meals, talk with Mike, Anna, and Kristoff to provide feedback on their dishes and gain some insight into how they made each meal. Return to Tiana again and talk with her about your experience so you can choose a winner.

Pick the Dreamlight Gastronomy winner in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To conclude this quest, you have to pick a winner. It’s entirely up to you who wins this competition and the only difference is the name and design featured on the Sandwich Board item you unlock to end this quest.

You only get one Victory Board, so choose whichever character and food menu you prefer to have a sign displaying. I went with Kristoff since I felt the Beignets would look best on a sign near Tiana’s restaurant.

After you’ve chosen your winner, talk with them to let them know the good news. Once they’ve been informed, leave Remy’s and place the Victory Sandwich Board featuring the winner you chose near Tiana’s Palace restaurant and Tiana’s Meal Stall.

Head over to Tiana’s Palace once you have the sign placed to listen as Tiana congratulates the winner. Once she’s done, talk with her to officially finish the Dreamlight Gastronomy quest. Once you finish this quest, there are still plenty of other tasks you can work through, like finding Jafar’s tools in the Cave of Wonders, completing the Savor Some Sweetness duty, and making Cannoli.
