To start the Tree’s Treasure puzzle in The War Within, head to the city of Dornogal and fly north to the waterfall shown on the map below.

There’s a cave hidden behind the waterfall—this is where you can find Freysworn Letitia. Speak to her to get the Crab Guiding Branch.

To solve Tree’s Treasure, you need to find six Pearlescent Shellcrabs across the Isle of Dorn. The first crab is chilling in the branches of the big tree atop Storm’s Watch. It’s on a thin branch to the southwest.

When you find it, you can either click on it to activate the Crab Guiding Branch or select the tool. As this happens, confirmation will pop up in the WoW chat. Make sure you activate every crab to avoid having to track them down again.

The next crab can be found near the mountains to the north of Storm’s Watch, nestled in the base of a tree trunk with a flower patch nearby.

Once you’ve found this Pearlescent Shellcrab, head to Dhar Oztan for crab three. Look underneath a fir tree to the west of Dhar Oztan, surrounded by boulders.

The majority of the crabs are in locations where they blend into tree branches perfectly. When you mouse over them, their name will pop up.

After this, fly over Freywold Village until you’ve gone past a big split in the road to find crab four. Check out the gallery below for an exact location.

This is one of the hardest crabs to find, as you need to dismount and look in among tree roots, bushes, and stones to find it. The majority of trees in the area have light green leaves—look for dark leaves in order to find the little guy.

After this, head over to Cinderbrew Meadery. Crab five is on the south end of the map, below the bend in the path.

The Cinderbrew Meadery crab can be found sat on a tree root, with a half circle of stones and patch of smaller trees nearby.

Finally, head to the smallest island to the east of Dhar Kazhad and fly to the middle.

Find the stair-like boulders in the middle of the island. The final crab is on top of a boulder with a tree jutting out the side of it.

With that, you’ve got every crab. Fly back to the waterfall cave and speak to Freysworn Letitia to turn them in. The reward for this is Hanna’s Locket, a toy that creates a hologram horse with an automatic sprint. It’s not a permanent mount, but it’s a beautiful cosmetic.
