The Soaring Meaderbee is one of the rare mounts you can get in World of Warcraft: The War Within. Like all good things, getting this bee mount requires patience and a whole lot of farming. Here’s everything you need to know about getting the Soaring Meaderbee.
How to get the bee mount in WoW The War Within
In WoW, you can purchase the Soaring Meaderbee from the Meadery Requisitions vendor, Cendvin, for 900 Sizzling Cinderpollen. Cendvin is located near the Cinderbrew Meadery on the Isle of Dorn, roughly at the coordinates 74 and 45. Once you buy the reigns, open your bag, and use the “Reigns of the Soaring Meaderbee” to get this flying mount.
How to get Sizzling Cinderpollen in WoW The War Within
As you may have noticed, however you’re not using Gold or Silver to buy the mount. Instead, you’ll be using Sizzling Cinderpollen, which you can get by killing and looting the bees around the Cinderbrew Meadery. Be warned, they’re tricky little fellas.
If these bees are one-shotting you, Sizzling Cinderpollens can also drop from non-bee mobs like wolves and slimes as long as they’re close to the Cinderbrew Meadery.
To maximize time, kill the elite bees; I found they’re more likely to drop Sizzling Cinderpollen. If you’re not confident in taking on elites, you can still farm the regular bee and wolf mobs, it just takes a bit more time to collect 900 Sizzling Cinderpollens.
Secret Sizzling Cinderpollen farming spot
If you’re struggling to get the Sizzling Cinderpollen and don’t have a The War Within group that can help you, there’s also a way you can get at least one to four Sizzling Cinderpollens every five minutes. In the northeast forest, there’s a pack of four wolves that roam up and down a small hill, roughly at the coordinates 75 and 35. If you camp the hill and kill them, you have a chance of getting one to four Sizzling Cinderpollens.
Getting 900 Sizzling Cinderpollens this way is definitely time consuming. But it’s less risky, and you can kind of AFK for four minutes while you wait for them to respawn. Truthfully, this is what I did after I realized this pack respawned pretty quickly as I was killing the elites in the area. I was tired of hard grinding and really wanted to read my book, but I also wanted to play WoW and get this mount. It was one of those “woe is me” moments. So, I ended up killing the wolves, reading, killing them once they respawned, and kept doing that until I didn’t want to anymore. Then, I just repeated the process whenever I felt like earning progress towards the mount.
There are a ton of elites in the area if you get bored of this slow farming pace. And there may be other spots just like this in the area where you can kill packs of slimes or bees that aren’t elites. So fly around, and you may find new spots to farm, which is how I found this one.
Then, once you have 900 Sizzling Cinderpollens, you can exchange it for the bee mount via Cendvin. Once you’ve bought the mount, there’s nothing else you can buy with these Sizzling Cinderpollens, so try not to get more than 900 as they’ll be useless.
