Fate Weaver is an off-hand weapon you can get in WoW The War Within, favored by casters.
A Fate Weaver off-hand is a powerful weapon on par with other Heroic gear options and even with some Mythic gear, meaning it’s suitable for both healers and caster damage dealers. So, here’s our complete guide on how to get Fate Weaver in The War Within.
How to get Fate Weaver in WoW The War Within
Although there are many ways to get incredible loot in The War Within, Fate Weaver is an Epic off-hand weapon you can’t find in Nerub-ar Palace or Mythic+ dungeons. Farming this weapon can be just as tricky as getting the Befouler’s Syringe because Fate Weaver is an RNG drop.
While it’s certainly difficult, obtaining Fate Weaver is not entirely impossible. You can use the following methods to get Fate Weaver:
- Bountiful Delves
- Zekvir boss
- Normal Delves
- Khaz Algar Dungeons
- The Great Vault
One of the best ways to get Fate Weaver is to do your daily Bountiful Delves. This is probably the most efficient way to get the item because it has a couple of chances to drop while you’re doing the Delve.
If you’re lucky enough, you can get the Delver’s Bounty map, which guarantees a 616 item level loot. This happens at the end of the Bountiful Delve, and if you’re fortunate enough that item has a chance to be a Fate Weaver one.Â
Another reason you should do Bountiful Delves is because you have a chance to fight the Zekvir boss which can spawn randomly. If you manage to beat him or at least bring him to half of his health, he might drop you the Fate Weaver weapon.
According to players on Wowhead, you can also get Fate Weaver as a random drop in one of the Khaz Algar Dungeons, mostly in the City of Threads. If you don’t manage to get the weapon from the previous methods, you can always hope to get it from The Great Vault during the weekly reset.Â
How to use Fate Weaver in WoW The War Within
If you finally managed to get your hands on Fate Weaver, it’s time to put it to good use. Fate Weaver originally drops as an off-hand weapon for casters, but you can transform it into a main hand weapon.
Once you get the off-hand Fate Weaver, make your way to Azj-Kahet zone and reach the Blood Tower at coordinates 64.1, 74.8. You’ll find a big spool of web inside the tower and you need to interact with it. Equip the off-hand Fate Weaver and click on it, and depending on the spec you’re playing as a caster, you get the following main-hand weapons:
- Fateweaved Needle (Dagger) – for DPS
- Fateweaved Mallet (Mace) – for healers
Any version of the Fate Weaver weapon is great, and you should definitely use it and perhaps even upgrade its item level with your Harbinger Crests. However, Fate Weaver is made only for casters. The following classes that can wield this weapon:
- Mage
- Priest
- Warlock
- Holy Paladin
