Primordial Stones: What are they, how to get them, and how to crush them in WoW Dragonflight

They're a valuable resource.

In the latest World of Warcraft Dragonflight Patch, 10.0.7, there have been many new content additions, changes, and updates, including a new area, called the Forbidden Reach. And players can experience the Zskera Vaults.

The Vaults are a fun place that allows players to solve puzzles, kill mobs, and obtain rewards. One such item players can get is called Primordial Stones, and each of these is a valuable resource for players to find and use.

As there have been many changes in this patch, you may be wondering what Primordial Stones are, how to get them, and how to crush them. So, here’s everything you need to know about Primordial Stones.

Primordial Stones in WoW Dragonflight

What are Primordial Stones in Dragonflight

Primordial Stones have trinket-like effects and can be used in the new item, the Onyx Annulet, which can house three of these stones. It’s important to note Primordial Sockets can only be found on this new item, and these sockets can only hold Primordial Stones. The stones can also be used together to create powerful combinations, and they can also be adjusted to suit your Raid or Mythic+ dungeons needs, meaning you can unsocket them.

How to get Primordial Stones in Dragonflight

There are a couple of methods you can use to get Primordial Stones. The first method is by running the Zskera Vault, as there’s generally a large chest inside that contains Primordial Stones and fragments, which can be crafted into Primordial Stones.

You can also earn a resource called Condensed Magic Tokens, which can be earned by completing or participating in content from the Forbidden Reach. The tokens also vary in type.

The tokens can be earned by opening chests, killing rare mobs, or participating in the Primal Storm event. And once you’ve earned enough tokens, they can be used to create a Primordial Stone of the same type as the used tokens.

How to crush Primordial Stones in Dragonflight

While you can earn complete Primordial Stones in Dragonflight, you can also crush or break them down. In Morqut Village, there is a blacksmithing table next to Ham’urit you can use to do so.

When you approach the table, an extra action bar will appear, allowing you to “Break Primordial Stone.” If you have any Primordial Stones you don’t want to use, you can select them from your inventory and break them down into six Dormant Primordial Fragments. These Fragments can then be used to create a new Primordial Stone or increase the item level of a complete Primordial Stone.

But to upgrade a Primordial Stone, you’ll need to obtain the new recipe, Unstable Elementium, which drops from the rare monster Amephyst in the Forbidden Reach. And you need to have at least 50 points in Dragon Isles Jewelcrafting to learn the recipe.

Primordial Stones can be an excellent resource for all players and classes, and they’re easy to get and use in World of Warcraft Dragonflight.
