Though characters such as Kraven and Venom may steal the show in Spider-Man 2, the final moments of the game tease plenty of characters we can likely expect to see in future installments. Albert Moon, though only briefly seen, could point to another Spider-person joining the ranks of Peter Parker and Miles Morales soon.

If you are looking to understand who Albert Moon is, keep reading ahead. Be warned, there are massive spoilers ahead for Spider-Man 2’s plot and ending.

Albert Moon in Spider-Man 2, explained

Albert Moon is Rio’s (Miles’ mother) boyfriend whom we briefly see at the end of Spider-Man 2. More importantly, he is Cindy Moon‘s father. Cindy Moon is also known as Silk, another Spider-person first introduced in 2014.

Throughout Spider-Man 2, we hear that Rio Morales is getting back into the dating scene after the death of Miles’ father. By the end of the game, it is revealed that this mystery man is Albert Moon. It is not necessarily Albert’s character that may be of interest to Spider-Man fans, but instead his daughter, Cindy Moon.

With Peter Parker allegedly retiring from crime fighting and hanging up his Spider-Man suit, this leaves a massive gap in the story to be filled by a new hero. Miles Morales is likely to step up as New York’s main Spider-Man, however, it is possible that Cindy Moon could join him as Silk.

It is unclear if Cindy Moon has already donned her Silk costume or has even obtained her Spider-powers yet, as we only get to see a glimpse of the back of her head. Now that Cindy Moon is officially a part of the Insomniac franchise, it feels like only a matter of time before we see Silk on the screen.
