5 new features in EA FC 25 Pro Clubs

Pro Clubs is back and better than ever.

Pro Clubs continues to be one of EA FC‘s most popular game modes and a great way to interact with friends. EA FC 25‘s Pro Clubs has been overhauled this year and features an array of star-studded line-up changes.

There’s nothing better than watching on in disappointment as your mate tries to dribble past the entire opposition team for the 10th time in the match, or celebrating as you finally get promoted in EA FC‘s Pro Clubs.

The online chaos of Pro Clubs remains a marquee feature for many in the community, but it’s often overlooked by EA each year in favor of Ultimate Team. 2024 is different, and EA FC 25 has made wholesale changes—so sit down for a team talk.

Clubhouse

A fully integrated social space called the Clubhouse allows you and your teammates to communicate easier, and it’s designed to improve accessibility across all facets of EA FC 25‘s Pro Clubs.

Menus in EA FC 25 have received a “major overhaul” in general, and Pro Clubs is a fine example of this. In the Clubhouse, you can tinker with everything from your club’s cosmetic touches to the new and improved tactics and systems and more.

Facilities

Pro Clubs’ Facilities allow you to be more hands-on than ever in EA FC 25. In the words of the developer, that “includes everything from hiring club staff like Equipment Managers to building a Weight Room. Each Facility is a choice shaping the way your entire club plays and develops together.”

A huge number of staff additions and physical upgrades can be purchased for your club, and they all have a genuine bearing on the status of the club, player performances, and much sought-after improvement.

Earning a better reputation and working your way through leagues increases your budget, giving you a golden pathway to allow your club to finance upgrades and rise to the top.

Relegation

You asked for Relegation to return and EA listened—Pro Clubs Relegation is here, but be careful what you wish for! Like most real-life leagues, if you don’t perform well enough on the pitch, instead of stagnating in the same division like in previous years, you can be demoted to a lesser division, and this has a negative bearing on your finances and those Facilities we talked about earlier.

Play bad enough, and you end up in a Relegation Battle: “The Relegation Battle is a high-stakes, one-off match determining whether your club stays in its current division or drops to a lower one,” says EA.

Rush

Rush is one of the biggest additions to EA FC 25. Replacing Volta, Rush is a new 5v5 mode featuring full-sized goals with smaller teams.

We’ve already delved into what Rush is in EA FC 25, but with the ability to improve your player and ascend and descend its competitive leagues, Rush is another way to bond with friends, contribute to your overall club’s profile, and give you a break from the intensity of 11v11 matches.

Tactics

Another of EA FC 25‘s biggest features is the introduction of “FC IQ,” and Pro Clubs uses it too. Again, we’ve already broken down the ins and outs of what FC IQ is, but in short, it allows you to micromanage individual players more closely.

You can move players around the pitch without being penalized for playing someone out of position—if the player is capable of doing so. It allows your team to have greater depth and adapt better on the fly with preset roles and plans.

Pro Clubs has so much more this year, and this guide scratches the surface of what to look forward to. The extensive and complete EA FC 25 Pro Clubs deep dive is ready for those wanting to know everything EA is cooking up.
