The New Home, New Candle WoW task from Janky in The War Within (TWW) is one of many mini-quests you’ll need to complete as a part of the Home is Where the Candle Is main questline. The questline is separate from the campaign storyline, but it’s still important because all the mini-quests add up to a bunch of XP needed when quickly leveling to 80. Here’s how to complete the New Home, New Candle task in TWW.

The quest for New Home, New Candle begins in the town of Gundargaz, The Ringing Deeps. For players following the campaign storyline, you’ll come across Janky and his gang after finishing chapter three of the Isle of Dorn campaign storyline. The next chapter begins in The Ringing Deeps zone.

Tip:Location of New Home, New Candle in TWW

The coordinates to start the New Home, New Candle quest with Janky are 47.79 and 34.89

Picking up the New Home, New Candle TWW quest will have you meeting Janky in the Cinderwold, Isle of Dorn area. But first, travel to Pillarstone Spire in The Ringing Deeps to pull a lever.

Reports from WoWhead suggest that some players are experiencing a glitch with the elevator lever at Pillarstone Spire in The Ringing Deeps. To solve this, some say you can skip the lever and fly directly to Janky’s location in the Isle of Dorn. Or, you can exit the game, and upon logging back in, the lever should be highlighted and ready to pull. When I came across the glitch, logging out and back in cleared it up for me.

Tip:Pillarstone Spire location in TWW

The coordinates for the Pillarstone Spire in The Rigging Deeps are 53.89 and 44.96

Pulling the lever takes you to the Skolzgal Mill in the Isle of Dorn zone. The elevator is always active and serves as a free Flight Path back to the Isle of Dorn. Exit the mill and fly to Janky’s location.

Where to finish New Home, New Candle quest in The War Within?

Janky is located at coordinates 72.07 and 42.06, where you can turn in the New Home, New Candle quest. This is the same location for the Beebiter Slain quest, which has also caused trouble for some players. The Janky line of quests in TWW will continue for the Home Is Where the Candle Is questline and eventually end in The Ringing Deeps zone with him opening a candle shop.
