How to get and use Algari Tokens of Merit in WoW The War Within

The Algari Tokens are new Tokens of Merit that you can collect in WoW The War Within, and they work similarly to the previous expansion.

Like your weekly reward from the Great Vault, you can get Algari Tokens of Merit with every weekly reset. So, here’s our full guide on how to get and use Algari Tokens of Merit in The War Within. 

How to get Algari Tokens of Merit in WoW The War Within

Before you start collecting Algari Tokens of Merit, make sure you reach the maximum level and complete the campaign story of Khaz Algar. Once you get that covered, you unlock the Great Vault in the capital city, Dornogal, at coordinates 52.42, 45.51. Depending on your progress, with every weekly reset you get a chance to obtain a piece of gear or Algari Tokens of Merit. Here are the following activities you must do weekly to obtain Algari Tokens of Merit:

• Defeat bosses in the Raid
• Complete Heroic, Timewalking or Mythic+ Dungeons
• World activities (Delves, Events)

The Great Vault resets every Wednesday, and while you can obtain a nice item with a high level, you can choose four Algari Tokens of Merit instead.

How to use Algari Tokens of Merit in WoW The War Within

If you don’t pick the loot but you get Algari Tokens of Merit instead, you can talk to the Token Exchange NPC Ardagaz. He’s located right next to the Great Vault, and you can exchange your Algari Tokens of Merit for the following items:

• Chest of Gold – requires two tokens
• Golden Valorstone – requires one token
• Triumphant Satchel of Carved Harbinger Crests – requires one token
• Celebratory Pack of Runed Harbinger Crest – requires two tokens
• Nerubian Gemweaver – requires six tokens

Whether you get extra gold, more Valorstones or Crests to upgrade your gear, all of these items are pretty useful, and you should definitely spend your Algari Tokens of Merit on them.
