New additions in Schedule 1 v0.4.0

The Schedule 1 update v0.4.0 shakes up the streets of Hyland Point with the arrival of the Benzies family, a brand-new rival cartel that changes the way you manage your empire. You can expect fresh storylines and high-stakes encounters, from ambushes and robberies to deeper, more complex cartel interactions.
On top of that, the arsenal expands with a new pump shotgun, matching shotgun shells, and the Hotbox, a fully drivable vehicle perfect for fast getaways or quick deliveries. New properties, including the lavish Hyland Manor, give players even more ways to grow and personalize their operations.
However, this update isn’t just about content drops; it’s about control. Version 0.4.0 introduces new console commands for tailored gameplay, a reworked region unlock system tied to cartel influence, and notable multiplayer upgrades like seeing other players’ NPC dialogues and trade abort conditions when dealers are taken out.
Add in quality of life improvements, fresh hairstyles, UI polish, and a hefty list of bug fixes, and you’ve got the biggest Schedule 1 patch to date, setting the stage for even more community-driven content in the future.
Cartel – Benzies family
The Benzies family makes their entrance as a powerful new rival cartel in Hyland Point, but you won’t run into them right away. They appear after you’ve unlocked several customers in Westville, marking the start of a more dangerous and unpredictable phase of the game.

This faction adds serious mid-to-late-game challenges, including cartel-player deals during truces, sudden ambushes, dealer robberies, dead drop thefts, and even direct cartel-customer transactions. These encounters push players to think strategically, balancing risk and reward while navigating a far more dynamic and unpredictable underworld.
Completing the Benzies family storyline comes with a major perk, unlocking the chance to buy Hyland Manor, a prestigious new property that not only boosts your empire’s status but also expands your influence across the city.
Weapons and vehicles
This update arms players with brand-new firepower, the pump shotgun and its matching shotgun shells. Perfect for close-quarters encounters, this weapon gives you a serious edge when facing off against rival gangs or fending off aggressive police raids.
And it doesn’t just stop there. The Hotbox, a sleek, drivable vehicle that makes navigating Hyland Point faster, smoother, and way more stylish, also makes its way into the game with this update. Whether you’re making quick drops or just cruising the streets, the Hotbox adds both efficiency and flair to your empire’s operations.
Console commands and gameplay updates
With the Schedule 1 v0.4.0 update, players now have access to a range of new console commands that open up fresh gameplay possibilities. Commands like setgravitymultiplier, setregionunlocked, and forcesleep give you more control over how you experience the game.
Whether you’re tweaking the environment, unlocking areas for testing, or skipping ahead to key moments, these commands will help you along. These tools make it easier to experiment, fine-tune your strategies, and adapt to challenging missions.

The update also reshapes how region progression works with the introduction of a cartel influence system. Instead of simply unlocking areas through milestones, you’ll now need to actively weaken a cartel’s control in a specific zone to a set threshold before moving on. This shift adds a deeper strategic element, making territorial dominance an ongoing objective rather than a passive unlock.
Bug fixes and other enhancements
Multiplayer in Schedule 1 gets a noticeable boost in v0.4.0, making co-op play smoother and more immersive. One standout change is the ability to view other players’ NPC dialogues in real-time, which helps teams coordinate better during deliveries and negotiations. Trading mechanics have also become more realistic. If your assigned dealer is incapacitated, any active deal will now automatically abort, raising the stakes and forcing you to adapt on the fly.
On the cosmetic side, you can enjoy three new hairstyle options for your avatar, adding more customization and personality to your character. Subtle UI and loading screen enhancements help polish the overall presentation, while targeted bug fixes improve NPC behavior and boost performance stability across the board.
What’s next for Schedule 1?

Update v0.4.0 is the biggest content drop to hit Schedule 1 since its release. With that in mind, the next big thing that is set to hit the drug-dealer simulator is the second community vote, and that is expected to happen sometime during September.
Apart from that, Tyler, the game’s developer, has confirmed that there will be more time between bigger updates to ensure the quality of the experience. “For future updates, I’m only going to announce a release date once I’m certain I’ll actually be able to deliver on time,” Tyler said on his message. “I’m going to try to keep in mind that early access is a marathon, not a sprint. The final quality of the game is what really matters, and I intend to deliver on that to the absolute best of my ability,” he added.
