Ultimate Team remains the most popular mode in EA FC 25, but you need a large amount of Coins to get hold of the best players and build your dream squad. If you want to get Coins fast, we’ve got some tips.
EA FC 25 is the latest entry in the long-standing franchise, and while there have been some improvements to core mechanics in Ultimate Team, the general gist remains the same: Get Coins, buy players, beat opponents.

Best ways to earn Coins in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team
Bronze Pack method
The Bronze Pack method has been a tried and tested way of earning Coins early in Ultimate Team for years, and the approach remains the same in EA FC 25—buy Bronze Packs, list the contents on the Transfer Market, and sell for profit.
A Premium Bronze Pack in EA FC 25 costs 750 Coins, with the minimum purchase price on the market 150 Coins. Some players sell for a rock-bottom figure, or not at all, but others can be worth a hefty figure for a player you were never likely to use.
The best players to sell with this approach are those from popular leagues, clubs, or nations. Any player who is also a perfect fit for SBCs can fetch a premium price, and the best way to check the going rate is by selecting the player and clicking Compare Price from the list of options that appear.
As you can see in the image above, I have Arsenal’s Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand in my squad, a player I purchased on the market for 450 Coins—so whoever sold him is just 300 Coins short of making their money back on a Bronze Pack with just a single sale.
Complete matches
Any match completed in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team, whether online or offline, provides Coins at the end of the game. You usually get around 500-600 a match, which isn’t enough to fund a move for Erling Haaland, but is a great way to boost your account early on.
If you want to grind through matches quickly, Squad Battles is the best approach, as the half-length is four minutes compared to six in online matches. As a result, you should be completing around seven matches an hour, which works out at around 3,500 Coins. As a bonus, you also become eligible for weekly Squad Battles rewards.
Playing matches in Ultimate Team is also the best way to earn progress towards Objectives, which takes us to our next tip.
Trade and quick-sell unwanted players
Opening packs in Ultimate Team is the best way to earn new players to build your squad, but the likelihood is the vast majority of players you receive are ones you’ll never touch. While you may consider holding onto them for SBCs, it’s always worth checking out their prices.
Some players on the Transfer Market go for more than you may expect, while others have a very high quicksell price. For example, I was lucky enough to get a Team of the Week player in my starter packs, and though it’s someone I will never use, I quicksold them for over 9,000 Coins—more than enough to build my starter squad.
Players you discard can also be purchased again on the market or saved from your trash pile, so they’re never lost permanently. If a player is only going to collect dust in your club, why not cash in instead?
Complete Objectives
Objectives in Ultimate Team are essentially mini-quests to complete in EA FC 25 that provide bonus rewards and are extremely useful early on in the game, as there are some easy ones to complete that allow you to stack up rewards.
For example, the Team Warm Up Objectives set contains a total of 800 Coins for some simple tasks, along with a few untradeable reward packs, and you can also earn Coins for doing other basic tasks like purchasing a new kit or applying a Chemistry item to a player in your club.
While the amounts provided won’t make you an Ultimate Team millionaire, they could be exactly what you need to push you toward that particular upgrade you’ve been eyeing on the transfer market.
