Go-Go Archipelago is the first level of the Tentacle System in Astro Bot and sees you hunting down the usual seven Bots, three Puzzle Pieces, and even another secret exit that takes you to a secret level in a far-off galaxy.
In Go-Go Archipelago, you scale a mountain using a new power-up—but finding all the collectibles on offer proves even more complicated than the Gorilla Nebula. Thankfully, we found them all, so you don’t have to.
All Go-Go Archipelago Bot locations in Astro Bot
There are seven Bots to find in Go-Go Archipelago in Astro Bot, and apart from a handful of renegades, most of them are pretty easy to find.
Bot 1 and 2
As you land on the beach, the first two Bots are to the left and right of the area on tiny islands. The first on the right is attached to a tree, while the second is on an island by a campfire to the left.
Bot 3
The third Bot is shortly after getting the Monkey power-up. As you climb up, you’ll see an Oyster you need to get rocks from to break some platforms to the left. Before going up, there is an enemy you can defeat standing on a pad. After beating the enemy, press the R2 and L2 buttons on the pad to spawn three cacti you can climb. Inside the yellow clam at the top is the Bot.
Bot 4
The fourth Bot is locked in a cage and is on a bridge in front of a gate on the way through the main level. You have to use your hover ability to shatter the glass beneath for the cage to fall and break open. Drop down to collect the Bot.
Bot 5
Following on from the fourth Bot, before climbing back up, you’ll notice a large boulder on a small island you can jump or swim to. Using the monkey ability, pick up the boulder and throw it at a breakable wall nearby to find the fifth Bot behind a green push puzzle.
Bot 6
After going through the pirate gate, you’ll stop to climb up the mountain and eventually come across a section with a Pink clam, three enemies, and a small pad you can slam on to spawn the way forward. Before that, turn around, and you’ll find an area you can jump to with a cannon you can activate. Shooting the cannon spawns a tightwire. You can walk across to a small section with the sixth Bot awaiting you at the end.
Bot 7
The seventh and final Bot is in a barrel you can pull on using the Square button about mid-way up the mountain. It’s right beside a checkpoint and just before you spawn three cacti using the monkey pound ability on a button.
All Go-Go Archipelago Puzzle Piece locations in Astro Bot
Puzzle Piece 1
You come across the first Puzzle Piece as soon as you start the level. When flying in, use the PlayStation ship controller’s boost by holding down the L2 and R2 buttons, and you can snag the Puzzle Piece out of the bird’s clutches. If you don’t boost, you won’t be fast enough to grab it, and it’ll fly away.
Puzzle Piece 2
The second Puzzle Piece is found shortly after getting the monkey power-up. When climbing the fence, you’ll see a clam you can pry open with the monkey’s ability to get rocks inside. To your left are three platforms you need to shoot down to advance, but if you look to your right, you can break down an additional structure to reveal a Puzzle Piece inside.
Puzzle Piece 3
The last Puzzle Piece is near the end of the level. When climbing up the mountain, you’ll come across a section with planks that fall as you quickly traverse to the right of them. When you finally climb onto stable ground, you can jump over a pit to your left to grab a giant boulder. Use the boulder to break open a destructible wall, and the final Puzzle Piece is inside.
Astro Bot Go-Go Archipelago secret exit location
The secret exit pad is easily missable here. It’s right at the end of the level after beating the Captain Pincher boss fight.
As soon as you beat the boss and before going to the exit flag, turn around, and you’ll notice a blue cross in the sand. You can spin the attack to dive down into a secret treasure area. Between all these jewels is the secret gold exit level that’ll take you to one of the many secret levels you can unlock in the world.
