How to take out two Wormys at the same time in Astro Bot

Precision is key.

One of the tricky trophies to grab in Astro Bot has nothing to do with the secret levels or Bots you can find; instead, it tasks you with killing two specific enemies simultaneously, which sounds simple enough at first.

The Double Dug-In trophy tasks you with taking out two Wormys simultaneously. But what is a Wormy? How can you beat two at once? Where can you find them? The trophy asks more questions than gives answers, but thankfully, there is a place where you can get the trophy in minutes.

There is only one level where you can complete the trophy: the aptly named Wormy Passage level in Astro Bot, located in the Tentacle System. You unlock the level a bit later into the galaxy, and it’s a relatively short level with Bots based on The Last of Us to find among the usual Puzzle Pieces.

There are a lot of Wormy enemies in the level that require you to use the boxing glove powerup to take them down. To defeat a Wormy, you need to fire a boxing glove into its mouth and pull on it to yank it from the ground to defeat it. They also drop coins when you defeat them.

Now, to get the trophy, you need to kill two of these enemies at the same time, and luckily, there is only one place in the entire level where you can get the bronze trophy, and it’s close to the beginning of the level.

After getting the boxing glove power up and breaking a golden door into the caves, you fight a cactus enemy before hitting a crystal to drop a large platform. As soon as you drop the platform, two Wormys spawn in front of you relatively close together. You must use L2 and R2 to stick a boxing glove in their mouths and pull on them simultaneously to get the trophy. If you kill one and not the other, just jump to your death to respawn and try again.

It’s super simple, really, and it shouldn’t take you that long to get this one; then, you can exit the level if you don’t plan to complete it.
