Astro Bot – All collectibles walkthrough for Trapped in Time

Trapped in Time is the final level in Astro Bot’s Serpent Starway nebula and has some pretty well-hidden collectibles you need to find in various sub-areas.

Most of the Bots and Puzzle Pieces you need to find are hidden behind sand waterfalls and terrain or require defeating certain enemies, making for a tricky level. You can also easily miss stuff if you go too far, forcing you to restart the level from scratch.

You will likely miss at least one collectible, so let’s show you where everything is to save you some time.

All Trapped in Time Bot locations in Astro Bot

Bot location one

The first Bot you encounter in Trapped in Time in Astro Bot is shortly after getting the chicken power-up. You come across a sand fall with iron bars behind it and can launch yourself above the area to pull a chain. You drop into the prison and collect the first Bot.

Bot location two

You come across a large area after going up a bottle through a cork. To the right is a weird metal circle on the ground and behind it is an area you can drop down behind to find the second Bot.

Bot location three

The third Bot is found as soon as you enter the second area of the level, where there is a deadly poison lake inside the mountain. You can see a metal cube in front of you in the cave. Grab its chain and use the chicken powerup to remove it to find the Bot inside.

Bot location four

Shortly after the third Bot, you can see a golden snake statue in the distance behind a green goo enemy on a stone pillar. By traversing the poison lake on the moving cubes, you can reach the platform at the end and snag the fourth Bot.

Bot location five

After defeating the green goo enemy in the cave, a pillar shoots up from the air to help you traverse the rest of the cave. Straight away, you see two snake enemies you must defeat to drain the poison lake between them. A crack appears, and you can spin an attack into it to fall to the fifth Bot.

Bot location six

As soon as you exit the cave and climb up the first part of the mountain, you can see a Bot popping its head up from a series of holes after defeating some enemies. It’s easy to miss if you don’t get close to the holes, as it won’t spawn until you are near it.

Bot location seven

Right at the end of the level, before jumping on the exit platform, look directly up to see a Bot flying around stuck on a bird. Use the chicken power-up and time it right to shoot up and grab it before exiting the level, otherwise, you need to do the whole level again to catch him.

All Lot in Time Puzzle Piece locations in Astro Bot

Puzzle Piece location one

The first Puzzle Piece is found before you even land on the level. As you fly in, you can see a golden snake chasing some small animals. Hit it with your ship, and the Puzzle Piece spawns on your descent into the level.

Puzzle Piece location two

As you progress through the level and climb up a mountain, you eventually come across a large metal block you must destroy to enter a new area. It’s after you climb up a rock on some green leaves.

Before you destroy the block, turn around, and in the distance, you can see some enemies circling a large bottle. The Puzzle Piece is inside of it.

Puzzle Piece location three

The last Puzzle Piece is found within the mountain. Before you exit, you come across a floor that is suspiciously covered with a bunch of gold trinkets. Using Astro’s hover ability, you can break the floor to reveal the final Puzzle Piece beneath it.
