Astro Bot – How to stop time and win the jackpot on all four slot machines in Slo-Mo Casino

Time to Cash In is one of many trophies you can collect in Astro Bot. You can get it in the Slo-Mo Casino level, around halfway through the game. While it might seem tricky at first glance, it’s easy when you know what to do—and we’ll tell you how.

How to complete the Time to Cash In trophy in Astro Bot

To find the four jackpot machines in Astro Bot, head to the Slo-Mo Casino level, located in the Serpent Stairway world. This is the third world in the game.

You get a power-up that lets you slow down time soon after you start the level. You can press R2 to activate it, and it slows down everything around you—including the cars on the bridge ahead, allowing you to pass over it safely. After crossing the bridge, head toward the large red gate. Defeat the enemies, pull the cord, and you’ll enter the next area of the map. The four slot machines are ahead of you.

You must hit the red button underneath each slot machine to claim the jackpot when gold Astro symbols appear. Trying to do it unassisted is impossible, though, because they’re moving too quickly. If you miss the gold symbols, the slot machine spawns enemies instead, and you need to kill them before you can try for the jackpot again. Use your new time-slowing ability to slow down the machines so you can hit the gold Astro symbols as soon as they appear.

You must hit the jackpot on all four machines separately, which can be time-consuming. There’s no way to speed up the process, so be prepared to spend a little time hitting each one.

If you miss the slot machines the first time you enter the level, it’s easy to get back to them, so don’t be discouraged if you forget to get the trophy the first time. Getting the jackpot also gives you one of the seven Bots in the world alongside the trophy, so you need to do it if you want to reach 100 percent completion.

Outside of the Time to Cash In trophy in Serpent Stairway, the only other trophy you can get, other than for finding all the collectibles, is finding all the egg artifacts in the final Dude Raiding level. So, feel free to rush through the world and snag everything in sight.
