How to complete the Jumping Through Hoops trophy in Astro Bot

Leap of faith.

Every platformer needs its annoying water level, and Astro Bot is no exception; Bubbling Under is a confusing mess if you are trying to find every collectible on offer, may it be Bots, Puzzle Pieces, or the odd trophy.

The Jumping Through Hoops trophy in-game tasks you with finding and leaping through the ring in the level Bubbling Under. The level is huge, and finding the specific hoop you are after can be a bit disorientating if you end up going off on a tangent, unable to go back to a specific area, or getting too far.

Thankfully, it’s relatively easy to find the loop and jump through it, and it takes just a minute to get there from the start of the level, so let me walk you through where you need to go.

To complete the Jumping Through Hoops trophy in Astro Bot, you must make it to the fourth world, Camo Cosmos, and enter the level Bubbling Under. It’s the level with the big fish icon.

As soon as you enter the world, you’ll need to progress a bit until you find the penguin power-up and progress through the world a bit more until you come to a large stone underwater door that opens, revealing a trapped starfish in front of you.

You need to find several latches in the level to free the starfish to progress, but we don’t care about that. We care about the bronze trophy instead. So, we will ignore the starfish and immediately head to the surface. In fact, straight above is exactly where we need to be.

If you turn around after reaching the surface, you see a bunch of dolphins jumping through a hoop attached to the wall. In one motion, you must use the penguin powerup to launch yourself from below the water through the hoop. If you hover through it, it can sometimes not work, so be sure to hold R2 and shoot up at an angle to maximize your chances of making it through.

That’ll be it once you pass through the hoop, and the trophy should unlock. Then you can finish the world if this is your first time here, or exit it and go on to your next venture.
