Former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player turned Overwatch pro Greg “Grego” McAllen is now adding another game to his list: Apex Legends. Grego has officially rejoined Cloud9, the team he once played Overwatch for, as its newest Apex player and he’ll represent the organization at the DLive tournament on Saturday.

Grego originally played support heroes, mainly Lúcio, for the original Cloud9 Overwatch lineup in 2016. Toward the end of his time with the team, he posted a message to the community on Reddit, citing “personality conflicts” as his main reason for departing from the team.

After leaving the team, Grego played as a stand-in for Team Liquid but later retired from the competitive Overwatch scene in 2017.

Grego will now return to Cloud9 to play for its newly-created Apex team, as announced on Friday. Grego will play his first Apex tournament for C9 alongside Jamison “PVPX” and Joseph “Frexs” Sanchez in the Apex DLive tournament on March 2.
