Rest in Peace Brave Warriors solution in Zelda Echoes of Wisdom

Come back later.

If you roam around the map in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, especially in the Gerudo Desert, you might come across a few hidden caves with solutions you can solve, but nothing happens.

In the north of the Gerudo Desert, the rifts have swallowed a temple. If you come across it, you can go through the area as normal until you come across a tomb with two unlit torches.

When you interact with the tomb, it reads the text “Rest in Peace, Brave Warriors” and doesn’t do anything else, no matter what you try to accomplish. That’s because it’s part of a bigger quest line you’ll eventually encounter.

You cannot complete the Rest in Peace, Brave Warrior solution the first time you encounter it. Instead, the only way to complete the puzzle is via playing through the Gerdo Desert main story.

About halfway through the Gerudo Valley main questline in Echoes of Wisdom, you’ll be tasked with repairing three smaller rifts across the desert to prove yourself to the Gerudo Chief so you can gain access to the main sanctum. One of these places takes you to the cave known as the Ancestor’s Cave of Rest.

If you came here earlier, you know you need to use your Bind ability to move big rocks so you can gain access to underground tunnels to take you to the tomb on the other side. If you arrive early and light the torches, nothing happens. It only works after you’ve accepted the quest.

There’s no reward for finishing it; you must come back later. So don’t worry if nothing happens just yet: After you complete the three small rift quests, you’ll finally get access to the final two Still World areas and the Gerudo temple ruins to save the area and start moving out of the ugly desert.
