Take out evil World of Warcraft critters invading the Isle of Dorn in The War Within‘s Fire in the Hole quest as you grind to complete the expansion campaign.

World of Warcraft: The War Within contains 12 campaign chapters across four zones, totaling three chapters per zone. After completing easy quests in the new WoW expansion, the game takes you to the Isle of Dorn, where a quest takes you to The Proscenium. There, a campaign side quest called Fire in the Hole appears.

After completing quests in Freywold Village (which includes clearing your first WoW Delve), you’ll be tasked with traveling to The Proscenium; the Earthen require assistance to fight off a swarm of enemies. The location of The Proscenium is 56.67 52.14.

What is the Fire in the Hole quest in The War Within?

The Fire in the Hole quest is issued by a chap named Wenbrandt, the creator of cinderbrew. An attack at The Proscenium has Wenbrandt questioning how to best put his brew to use since drinking it only caused more pain instead of helping the injured. Completing the Fire in Hole quest earns you over 18,000 experience and 23 gold.

Wenbrandt will ask you to pick up one of his cinderbrew barrels and place it over a hole in the ground that looks like an ant mound. Stand atop the hole while carrying the barrel of brew and press the blast icon at the bottom of the screen. Three locations around the immediate area will need to be blasted out to complete the Fire in the Hole quest.
