You’ll be on the lookout for these Pokémon throughout the Legendary Heroes event, which goes from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1 in your local area. Thankfully for players, these Collection Challenges are normally not too tough to complete, but some Pokémon might be easier to find if you know where to look. They might appear at specific locations more often than others. Here’s what you need to know about how to complete the Pokémon Go Shield Path Catch Collection Challenge.

There are eight Pokémon you need to track down to complete the Shield Path Catch Collection Challenge. You’ll receive the Pokémon you need to catch after confirming you’ll go down the Shield Path for the Legendary Heroes Timed Research. The Timed Research is a free ticket for all Pokémon Go players who log into the game during the event, from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1. This is also the amount of time you have to track down all the Pokémon featured in this Catch Collection.

Many of these Pokémon should appear in the wild while you walk around and play the mobile game. However, expect some of them to be tougher to track down than others, and we’ll offer multiple ways you can encounter them. Here’s what you need to know about how to find all Shield Path Pokémon for the Catch Collection Challenge in Pokémon Go.

All Shield Path Catch Collection Challenge rewards: 1,000 XP and a Skwovet encounter

You’ll want to get an incense close at hand while tracking down these Pokémon. Thankfully, only Croagunk, Galarian Ponyta, Lotad, Solosis, and Spritzee appear this way. If you’re having trouble finding a Galarian Ponyta, there’s a good chance it might appear in a one-star raid. For the three starter times, Pokémon from the Galar region, Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble all appear for every Pokémon Go player. Those might be the first Pokémon you catch on your list, as they can appear while you walk around and don’t require an item.

If you don’t have an incense, one is available as you work through the Legendary Heroes Timed Research. You’ll get it from the first series of rewards, which you might need to wrap up this Collection Challenge in Pokémon Go.
