All Pokémon Go Community Day Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta Special Research tasks and rewards

The next Community Day has arrived to Pokémon Go, featuring Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta side-by-side. These two Pokémon will have increased spawns on Sept. 14 from 2pm to 5pm in your local area. You can also grab a Special Research for the Community Day with several tasks and rewards.

You need to purchase this Special Research ticket before the event to begin working on it. Anyone who doesn’t have it won’t earn the tasks or rewards, but you can still participate in the free Community Day event featuring Ponyta and Galarian Ponyta. You’ll have a chance to evolve them to their final form, Rapidash and Galarian Rapidash, and teach them a new charged move, Wild Charge. You can purchase the Community Day Special Research ticket from the in-game Pokémon Go store. Unfortunately, you can only get it using real-world money to buy the item. There is no timer to complete this Special Research, but it certainly helps to wrap it up before the Community Day ends, making it easier for you to finish the many Ponyta-related tasks.

Task 1

All task 1 completion rewards: 3,000 Stardust, an incense, and a Galarian Ponyta encounter

Task 2

All task 2 completion rewards: 4,500 XP, a star piece, and a Ponyta encounter

Task 3

All task 3 completion rewards: 4,500 Stardust, a Rocket Radar, and a Rapidash encounter

Task 4

All task 4 completion rewards: 5,500 XP, three Rare Candies, and a Galarian Rapidash encounter
