It all comes down to watching Mecha Break on Twitch with any available streamers. You’ll need to wait to watch the streamer long enough to receive the open beta key as a Twitch drop. There are a few steps you want to follow and work through before attempting to get this Twitch drop to ensure the code goes to your preferred Steam account, and you can start playing the open beta.

  1. Go to the Mecha Break website and connect your Steam and Twitch accounts. To proceed, you’ll need to input your login information for both platforms.
  2. After you connect your accounts, check out any streamers on Twitch playing Mecha Break. Unfortunately for gamers, the time requirement has not been shared, and it might be a random drop given to viewers.
  3. Activate the open beta code through your Steam library and download the playtest. You should find it in your preferred email, submitted on the Mecha Break website.

The first phase of the Mecha Break open beta test will be from Aug. 2 to 8, but there’s a second phase from Aug. 9 to 13. During the second phase, more players will have a chance to play Mecha Break as you can request access directly on the Steam page. Anyone who doesn’t get access to the game during the first phase should expect to enter during the second wave.
