Which LoL champion says, ‘May you blossom’?

May you blossom, too?

Today’s LoLdle quote will have you wondering if the champion who says this lovely quote even exists in League of Legends. The answer is, they do… they’re just not popular with players in the Season 14 metagame.

If you’re struggling to figure out which champi wants things to blossom on Summoner’s Rift, I’ve got the answer to the Aug. 28 LoLdle quote.

Who says, “May you blossom” in LoL?

The LoLdle quote on Aug. 28 is, “May you blossom.” The League champion who says this line is Ivern.

This was going to be either a champ with flower and plant abilities or it was going to be a champion with a Spirit Blossom cosmetic. As we had Lillia and Zyra quotes recently, I knew it wouldn’t be either of these, so I was left with Ivern and all the champions with Spirit Blossom skins. Thankfully, choosing the easy route paid off. I didn’t know what I’d have done if I had to go through the entire Spirit Blossom list.

As a jungle champion, Ivern isn’t one I’ve played often—particularly after his 2023 rework. After research, I found he says this quote when he’s placing a grove with his passive ability, Friend of the Forest. Because of this ability, Ivern can’t attack or be attacked by any non-epic monsters on the map. Instead, he creates a magical grove that grows over time. He eventually “frees” the monsters to earn much-needed gold and experience.

This is a very unique style for a jungler, and the passive nature of Ivern and his lack of damage is likely why the adorable farmer has a less than one percent pick rate in Season 14 right now, according to League tracker U.GG.
