LoL KeSPA Cup 2025: Schedule, teams, stream, results

The 2025 KeSPA Cup is an exciting offseason tournament for any League of Legends fan. Cloud9 and Team Liquid head to Seoul from Dec. 6 to 14 to face off against Korea’s elite LCK squads in what marks a significant offseason opportunity for the two NA representatives.

This year’s KeSPA Cup carries extra weight as North America prepared for its rebrand back to the LCS name in 2026. That makes this tournament a proving ground for Cloud9 and Liquid to show they can compete internationally during the offseason. The tournament all-star lineups from Japan and Vietnam.

KeSPA Cup 2025 Tournament Format

The KeSPA Cup features 14 teams divided into three groups for single round-robin group stage play, with all matches being best-of-one. First place from each group advance directly to the knockout stage, while second-place teams enter the breakout stage. The breakout stage uses best-of-three matches, with the winner advancing to join the group winners.

The knockout stage features best-of-three matches through the first two rounds, with the grand final being best-of-five.

Team rosters – LoL KeSPA Cup 2025

The tournament features a strong Korean presence with all 10 LCK teams: BNK FEARX, OKSavingsBank BRION, DN Freecs, Dplus KIA, DRX, Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, KT Rolster, Nongshim RedForce, and T1. For the first time, the KeSPA Cup welcomes two North American teams—Cloud9 and Team Liquid—alongside all-star squads from Japan and Vietnam.

In a departure from previous years where most teams fielded academy rosters, this year’s KeSPA Cup will see seven of the 10 LCK teams, along with Team Liquid and Cloud9 will be fielding their new 2026 season lineups. This is due to the additional stakes this year as participation is mandatory for players hoping to qualify for the 2026 Asian Games. The Asian Games are of particular importance to Korean players for both national pride as well as a chance to earn a military service exemption with a gold medal.

Disney+ secured exclusive broadcasting rights for the KeSPA Cup 2025 and will livestream all matches in both Korean and English, with video-on-demand services also available. The broadcast will be available across 11 Asia-Pacific regions, including South Korea, Japan, and Australia.

The 2025 KeSPA Cup marks a historic expansion for the tournament with the first-ever participation of North American teams and exclusive Disney+ broadcasting.
