Why is the Pawn shop empty in Schedule 1?

Don’t worry, the owner likes to disappear sometimes.

If you’ve made your way to the Pawn Shop in Schedule 1 and you find the store empty without the owner, then you’re not alone, as many players are currently facing this error. However, there is an easy fix for this issue, and you can use it to get the NPC back to start dealing with your old stuff to earn good money with solid negotiations.

The Pawn Shop is empty because the Mick NPC doesn’t spawn some days due to a bug, and it’s been an issue since the beta update dropped. Here are a few ways that you can use to spawn him in the shop and use his services:

  • Timing: The most obvious way of missing him at the Pawn Shop is by not visiting him between 6am and 6pm. After that, Mick locks the door and leaves the shop empty. To meet and use his services, you need to go within that time frame, and he should be standing behind the counter.
  • Sleep: If you do make it in time and find an abandoned shop, chances are that the NPC is bugged and it won’t spawn for the day. Just spend your day dealing with your products and sleep on your bed to reset the day, and he should be back the next day. Repeat the process until you find him in the shop.
  • Remove him from your Dealers: Many players have reported that if Mick is among the customers in one of your dealers, he usually doesn’t spawn in the shop. If he is also with any of your dealers in the game, remove him by opening the dealer management app and manually removing his name so that he always comes to his shop after spawning.

While most of these are temporary workarounds, the developer should release a patch to permanently solve the issue, and Mick should be around in the Pawn Shop to help you with the cash flow in the game.
