Season eight in Diablo 4 launches on Tuesday, April 29. The exact time depends on your location, due to time differences, with some areas of the world not able to dive into the action until the early hours of April 30.

Diablo 4 season eight kicks off at 10am PT/12pm CT/1pm ET/6pm BST/3am AEST (April 30). Due to the online-only aspect of the game, there will be some server downtime before the new season kicks off. If you’re trying to log in and are unable to, that’s why.

For an exact breakdown of how long remains until Diablo 4 season eight begins, take a look at the countdown below to see how many hours, minutes, and even seconds are remaining until the servers go live with the new season.

What’s new in Diablo 4 season 8?

One of the standout changes is a tweak to the battle pass system, allowing you to claim the rewards in whatever order you like, so you won’t have to grind it out to unlock a particular reward that’s caught your eye and can instead immediately jump to claim what you want.

On top of that, season eight offers a new questline, two new NPCs, 24 Boss Powers, a new Apparition Incursion event, and a three-tier Lair Boss system to replace the current Ladder Bosses—the latter being one of the major tweaks for the new season.

Three new bosses are also getting introduced in season eight, all of which will be familiar to long-term Diablo players, with Urivar and The Harbinger of Hatred, which were introduced earlier in Diablo 4‘s seasonal content, returning alongside Belial, who was last seen in Diablo 3.

Another major change is that the difficulty of all boss fights has been increased, which extends how long they will take and, potentially, the number of deaths you encounter in the battles.
