How to complete Destiny 2 Renegades Discord quest

With the launch of the Renegades expansion in Destiny 2, you can earn a couple of freebies through promotional events. One of the events is a Discord quest, which requires you to play the game for a short while and awards a new shader.

Here’s how to complete the Destiny 2 Renegades Discord quest and redeem its rewards.

How to start and complete Destiny 2 Renegades Discord quest

Destiny 2 Renegades Discord quest is available until Dec. 15. To complete it, you need Discord and Destiny 2 installed on your device. On Xbox and PlayStation, you can also connect your Discord account to the console and accept the quest using the phone.

Here’s how to start and complete the Discord quest:

1. Open Discord.
2. On the home page, navigate to the Quests tab.
3. Find the Destiny 2 Renegades quest and accept it.
4. Play Destiny 2 for 30 minutes.

After accepting the quest, you can leave the game running for half an hour or explore some of the new content in this expansion, like the Lawless Frontier activity. To track your progress, find the quest in the Quests tab and hover over it.

Destiny 2 Renegades Discord quest rewards and how to claim them

By completing the Destiny 2 Renegades Discord quest, you get an Inkdrawn shader to paint your armor or weapons in the game. If you completed the quest, claiming it is quite similar to redeeming regular emblem codes.

To claim the Discord quest reward:

1. Open the quest and click Claim Reward.
2. Copy the code from the reward screen.
3. Head to the Bungie code redeem page.
4. Log in using your Bungie account or a corresponding platform account.
5. Enter the code and press Redeem Code.
6. Open Destiny 2 (or restart it if it was already open) and head to the Special Deliveries Terminal in the Tower.

The Special Deliveries Terminal is located between Banshee-44 and Master Rahool. This is where you can find all promotional rewards, as well as any pre-order bonuses.
