All confirmed upcoming characters in Destiny Rising

The next character coming to Destiny: Rising is Jaren Ward. Armed with a hand cannon and a shotgun, Jaren is a Solar Hunter whose abilities include a Western-style standoff and, of course, a Golden Gun. However, unlike anything we’ve seen in the Destiny universe before, Jaren’s Golden Gun is a dual-wield, similar to dual-wield sidearms.

Jaren Ward releases on Dec. 4, 2025. The update should also introduce The Last Word Exotic hand cannon to use on Jaren, as well as other new content.

At the time of writing, there are no leaks on the upcoming Destiny: Rising characters. The last batch of leaks included Helhest, Rossi-11, Maru, and Jaren Ward, all of which have now been officially confirmed and released.
