If you’ve been patiently awaiting the arrival of the new Apex Legends battle pass then today is your day.
You can download the update that brings with it a ton of unlockable content including the battle pass and new hero Octane right now.
The new Wild Frontier Battle Pass is available now for 950 Apex coins, so roughly $10. There is also a Battle Pass bundle which instantly unlocks the Battle Pass plus 25 out of its 100 levels. The bundle will be 2,800 Apex Coins.
Octane, the High-Speed Daredevil is a champion who has been rumored for a while now. Various leaks led players to believe Octane would be dropping alongside the Battle Passāand it looks like those leaks were correct. Octane can be unlocked via 12,000 Legends Tokens or 750 Apex Coins.
The Battle Pass for Apex’s first season will include over 100 unlockable items. Players will be able to unlock character skins, guns skins, Apex Coins, voice lines, loot packs, and more all just by playing the game.
When players first purchase the pass they will instantly unlock three new Legend skins. Players will receive a skin for Wraith, Mirage, and Lifeline. Once players have farmed to Battle Pass level 100, they will unlock the a new Legendary Silver Storm Havoc skin.
Players will keep all rewards earned after the season ends and since Apex is a free game, $10 seems fairly reasonable for so much content. If players want to splurge, they also have the option of buying individual levels of the Battle Pass at additional cost.
