Running in the magical world of Solaris-3.

Wuthering Waves is among the most popular gacha games on the market, with millions of players jumping on board the free-to-play title each month. While the game is available on several platforms like Windows PC, Android, iOS, and PlayStation 5, it is yet to see an official launch for Mac.

With the 2.0 update now out for Wuthering Waves and tons of new features added, the game is definitely holding its own against similar HoYoverse gacha titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai: Star Rail. However, you might be wondering whether it is playable on the macOS platform and if an official port is on the way.

The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic era when hostile creatures called Tacet Discords have taken over lands previously occupied by the human race. Humanity’s only hope lies with resonators (the game’s playable characters) who can fight back against these Echoes.

Regular updates from the developers further add to this, ensuring there’s always something new for the huge player base to engage with.

If you plan to try out Wuthering Waves on Mac, here are a few methods to run it.

The game is not optimized for emulator,s so you might face minor crashes or shuttering issues.

Cloud gaming

If you have a stable internet connection, cloud gaming using services like GeForce Now could be a perfect way to play the game on your Mac. The service provides high-end performance to your device, so you won’t have to worry about the graphics and play Wuthering Waves at your speed.

iOS emulators
