Know if your rig can handle Shift Up's renowned action-adventure title.

Stellar Blade is finally making its way to PC this June after more than a year since its debut on PS5. The PC version pushes the release to its max with unlocked framerates, higher resolution textures, and support for modern upscaling technologies like DLSS 4 and FSR 3.

This is an Unreal Engine 4 title and runs quite well on a PS5. Shift Up has now shared the detailed breakdown of the Stellar Blade system requirements along with some of the PC-exclusive features. Here is everything you need to know about the PC release of Stellar Blade.

Any good action game should target 60 FPS as a baseline, and that’s no different here. All the presets mentioned above are targeting 60 FPS with a minimum resolution of 1080p, which I’m assuming is native rendering.

For a 60 FPS experience at 1440p with the high settings, you’ll need something like an RTX 2070 Super paired with a modest Ryzen 5 3600X. Both of these components are showing their age at this point, but considering Stellar Blade is still a UE4 title, this makes a lot of sense.

If you’re targeting 4K, however, you’ll need something a bit beefier, like the RTX 3080 or the RX 7900 XT. Both of these are 4K capable GPUs to a point, and it seems that Stellar Blade shouldn’t be a problem even when the settings are cranked at the very high preset as long as you’re okay with 60 FPS.

An SSD with 75 GB of free space is required, no matter what settings you play at, and 16 GB of RAM is recommended across the board.

Stellar Blade PC features

Players can expect the following features in Stellar Blade on PC at launch:

  • NVIDIA DLSS 4, AMD FSR 3, and frame generation
  • Unlocked frame rate
  • Ultrawide support up to 32:9 aspect ratio
  • DualSense controller support, Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers
  • Higher resolution environment textures

In addition to the PC release, Stellar Blade is getting new content on both PC and PS5:

  • 25 new nano-suit outfits
  • Brand new boss against Mann, the leader of the Sentinels
  • Support for Simplified Chinese and Japanese facial animation

Stellar Blade release date for PC

Stellar Blade is coming to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on June 11, 2025.

I’m cautiously optimistic about the PC version of Stellar Blade. The PS5 release was practically flawless in terms of performance, maintaining a rock-solid 60 FPS throughout. That said, PC ports of Unreal Engine titles often perform worse than their console counterparts. But since this isn’t an Unreal Engine 5 release, I’m more inclined to trust the port’s quality.
