Popplio’s Pokémon Go Community Day begins on Aug. 31, and for anyone taking part in it, a host of bonuses and rewards are available to you during the event.
If this is your first Community Day, or you’re returning to the day after a long hiatus, it can be a bit overwhelming to keep track of everything going on. Don’t fret, though, as we have condensed all the vital information into one bite-sized guide to inform you of all the essential details ahead of time.
All Popplio Community Day event bonuses and details
The Pokémon Go Popplio Community Day beings Aug. 31, 2pm to 5pm local time.
Shiny Popplio is spawning with increased odds, and you’ll be guaranteed to find a couple throughout the day if you check everyone you see. If you evolve a Popplio into Primarina any time on Aug. 31, it’ll learn the exclusive move Hydro Cannon. It can also learn Sparkling Aura during the event as an additional move.
There are several event bonuses as part of the three-hour event. Trainers can get the following bonuses while they play anytime between 2pm to 10pm local time:
- 2x Catch Candy
- 3x Catch XP
- 2x Candy XL chance
- 3-hour Lure modules
- 3-hour Incense
- Snapshot Surprises
- +1 Special Trades
- 50 percent Trade Stardust cost reduction.
For anyone who misses out on the Community Day, special raids are happening from 5pm to 10pm local time for Brionne. If you beat the raid, Popplio will spawn around the raid for a short time, and yes, these have also increased Shiny odds.
