“With a vast variety of weather elements that empower the ways players can play with life, The Sims 4 Seasons will allow players to use their sims to tell relatable stories like those they’ve experienced in real life,” The Sims 4 producer Grant Rodiek said in a statement. “The ever-changing weather will transform worlds in unique ways by impacting gameplay choices, sim’s relationships, and sim’s daily life, while also delivering new challenges.”

Seasons has been a heavily requested expansion pack from The Sims 4 fans.

A bunch of new items will be added with the expansion pack, including items designed to help ring in Christmas and the New Year, as well as Valentine’s Day and a Harvest Festival. Players will also be able to create custom holidays and have their sims celebrate in their own unique ways.

Seasons players will also be able to advance their garden careers with new activities like building flower arrangements and delivering blooms around town. Science-minded sims will be able to explore botany and do research on plants. New outfits and objects are unlockable, too.

The Sims 4’s last expansion pack, Cats and Dogs, was released on Nov. 10 for Mac and PC players. It’s been The Sims 4’s best performing expansion pack so far.
