London Spitfire and Philadelphia Fusion—the playoffs’ fifth and sixth seeds—qualified for the event over the past few weeks of playoff games. It was Philadelphia that took Overwatch League favorites New York Excelsior out of the tournament, and for that, they’ve got a spot in the finals.

Twelve teams entered the Overwatch League when it started in January, more than a year after the league’s initial announcement. Months have passed. Only one team can come out of the weekend as the first season’s champion.

How do I watch?

If you’re not able to head over to the Barclays Center this weekend, there are plenty of other ways to watch. All of the games will be broadcast live on Twitch and Major League Gaming’s broadcast service. Varying language streams are available online, too.

But thanks to a new deal between the Overwatch League and Disney, the games will also be broadcast on ESPN and Disney XD.

Friday, June 27

The first match between London Spitfire and Philadelphia Fusion starts at 6pm CT. Fans can find the game on Twitch, MLG, and on ESPN.

Saturday, June 28

The games start at 3pm CT on July 28. The first match will be streamed on Twitch, MLG, Disney XD, and ESPN3. The finals will be re-run at 8pm CT on ESPN2.

Sunday, July 29

Blizzard will air a highlights recap show from the weekend’s events at 2pm CT on ABC and ESPN3.

What’s on the line?

Both London Spitfire and Philadelphia Fusion are gunning for the title of Overwatch League’s season one champion, but there’s a lot of money up for grabs, too. The first-place team will take home $1 million, with second place earning $400,000.

  • 1st: $1 million
  • 2nd: $400,000
  • 3rd: $100,000 — Los Angeles Valiant
  • 4th: $100,000 — New York Excelsior
  • 5th: $50,000 — Boston Uprising
  • 6th: $50,000 — Los Angeles Gladiators

What’s the format?

London Spitfire and Philadelphia Fusion will play in a best-of-three series. The first team to two matches takes home the big prize.
