Just one week ago the rest of team’s players, including one of the game’s biggest stars Dima “Rdu” Radu, left the team in the wake of a new sponsorship agreement with Azubu. The sponsorship was cited as a major factor in the decision, though some of the players also cited disharmony within the team.

“I’m no longer member of team MYM,” Molendijk told the Daily Dot. “I’m thankful for everything MYM did in the start of my career and wish them the best for the future. From now i’m free agent and looking forward for next year.”

Though Molendijk has not yet joined a new team, he does have a prior association with Team Liquid, competing for them in the NEL Fall season as a temporary member.

Both Molendijk and Radu have had a very successful year in 2014, with Radu winning DreamHack Summer and Moledijk winning DreamHack Masters Bucharest. The pair also enjoyed success in other tournaments and online competitions, and were considered two of the best players this year.

With all of its players now gone, MYM’s future in Hearthstone remains uncertain. The free agent pool has been significantly diminished in recent months, and the team will struggle to pick up players of similar quality.

Radu is technically still with the team as their sole player, but only until his contract expires at the end of the year.

Meet Your Makers did not respond to a request for comment by time of publication.
