Epic Games plans to add a new limited time mode to Fortnite: Battle Royale soon, and it involves some dancing.

An in-game message confirmed that a new LTM, Disco Domination, is coming soon. The mode will require players to “capture and defend Dance Floors around the island using emotes to earn points,” according to the message’s description.

Although there were new skins, pets, and map changes introduced in the 6.0 update, this would be the first limited time mode added since the launch of season six last Thursday. Some LTMs have been especially popular in the past, with modes like 50v50 and Solid Gold appearing more than once.

When Epic says items or modes are “coming soon,” it almost always means that the developers will roll out an update the following day to add in the new item or mode. If that pattern continues, players should be able to jump into Disco Domination on Tuesday.

Within the first week of season six, players are already seeing changes to the map. In addition to the Loot Lake island moving around and causing a bit of chaos, players have spotted Halloween decorations at particular points of interests.

October has just begun, and we have a supernatural island that floats above the ground, glitchy Shadow Stones, some cute Pets to keep us company, and we’ll soon have a dance-themed LTM. It really shows that pretty much anything can wind up in this game.
