The challenges for the first week of season six of Fortnite: Battle Royale are here—and they guarantee Junk Junction won’t be a fun place to land.
Fortnite: Battle Royale’s sixth season continues the tradition of weekly challenges in both free and Battle Pass variations. Each week, new challenges will arrive with the reward of XP and Battle Stars that help rank up Battle Passes.
With the new season upon us, let’s look at what we’re working with this week.
Free challenges
Action | Reward |
Pick up a Legendary Item in different matches (3) | 5 Battle Stars, 500 XP |
Regain health from a Cozy Campfire (150) | 5 Battle Stars, 500 XP |
Stage 1: Search Chests (3) | 3 Battle Stars, 300 XP |
Legendary items are gold, so make sure to go for gold. You’ll probably have an easier time getting them in 50-vs-50, but if you want the challenge (no pun intended), you could do it in Solo.
Get nice and toasty with your Cozy Campfire. They last about 25 seconds, so if you’re low on health, they work really well. They’re not as tough to find as Legendary items, either.
Search three chests—that’s very easy. You don’t even really have to know what you’re doing as long as you stumble upon three chests.
Battle Pass challenges
ACTION | Reward |
Apply Shields (500) | 5 Battle Stars, 500 XP |
Stage 1: Land at Junk Junction (1) | 5 Battle Stars, 500 XP |
Dance under different Streetlight Spotlights (7) | 10 Battle Stars, 1,000 XP |
Eliminate opponents in different Named Locations (5) | 10 Battle Stars, 1,000 XP |
You shouldn’t find it too difficult to apply that many shields. While it will likely be a little tedious finding and using all of them, you have plenty of time to do so.
Junk Junction will be hell on the Fortnite map this week. Similarly to every other point of interest included in weekly goals, you can expect tons of players to land at Junk Junction to get those Battle Stars.
Show off your dance moves under some street lamps, and you’ll get 10 easy Battle Stars.
The last challenge is quite possibly the toughest for week one, but that makes sense considering it gives out the biggest reward. Unlike some of the other challenges, you probably need to know how to fire weapons and protect yourself to complete it. Believe in yourself, though.
