How to reach Veilwater Basin in Enshrouded
The fastest and most reliable way to reach Veilwater Basin in Enshrouded is by heading west from the Albaneve Summits fast travel tower.

First, you need to climb up the mountain and glide down toward the basin, keeping an eye out for a large hole in the mountainside. This passage is easy to miss, so glide carefully until you spot the opening. If you’re approaching from the east, you can also start at the Ancient Spire in Albaneve Summits, then jump left toward the edge and glide west until you find the entrance.
The passage is located just below a castle or fortress-like structure, and the entrance is typically on the left side if you’re facing the front of the fortress. If you overshoot the entrance, you may see a valley overlook, so backtrack and study the mountainside carefully for the subtle downward slope leading into the passage.
Things to remember before entering Veilwater Basin
Since the Veilwater Basin is more of endgame content, you need to keep a few things in mind before entering there.
Firstly, your character should be at least level 35 and equipped with upgraded gear before attempting to enter, as the area is filled with high-level enemies like the Drak, which roams the basin and forests. Also, bring items that will help with underwater traversal, such as sushi made with Algae, Cooked Rice, and Silverback Fish, to increase your oxygen supply for diving.

Scout the area first and consider setting up a camp or checkpoint near the entrance for easier exploration and quest completion. If you’re coming from the Blackmire region, you can also reach Veilwater Basin by scaling the mountains north of the Nomad Highlands fast travel point, but the Albaneve Summits route is generally easier.
Once you’re inside, you will get to see dense forests, beautiful beaches, and underwater ruins. The biome has introduced new resources like Bananas, Ginger, Crab Meat, Bamboo, Shell Limestone, Palm Trees, and Tropical Wood, which can be used for crafting and building. You’ll also encounter new POIs, including the Capybara Oasis and the abandoned town of Riverreach, as each offers unique quests and rewards.
In the meantime, do check out all the gems you can find in Enshrouded, along with the best locations to build your base.
