Best MK47 build in Delta Force

A new toy for Engineers.

Season War Ablaze introduced two powerful weapons to Delta Force: the Marlin Lever-action rifle and the MK47 assault rifle. MK47 is exclusive to the Engineer class, and as you might expect from Engineer weapons, it packs some serious firepower.

MK47 is a hard-hitting assault rifle, on par with battle rifles, and has incredibly high time-to-kill at longer ranges, thanks to 26 base damage to the body, 52 to the head, and 40m base range. However, it also comes with a heavy recoil at the initial trigger pull. Without any attachments, you’ll be looking at the clouds in a split second, which is why this build prioritizes Control above all.

The MK47 Ember Barrel increases the effective range to 46m alongside Control and Stability – two of the most important stats when it comes to this rifle. All available slots on the barrel are covered in Ranger Handguards for Control and a laser to improve Handling.

As mentioned, the recoil pattern goes sharply up and to the right after the initial trigger pull. Bastion Horizontal Compensator brings it down, but you still need the X25U Angled Combat Grip to get it to an acceptable level.

The base magazine holds only 20 rounds, so you need something bigger to secure kills. We opted for the MK47 30-Round Mag because it has a lesser impact on the weapon’s Handling, but you can also use the MK47 40-Round Mag.

At this point, the Handling is quite low, and you can use the Invasion Rear Grip to bring it up. This is especially important because the US Spec Ops Tactical Stock reduces Handling even further but brings much-needed Stability.

Calibration settings double down on Control and a little bit of Firing Stability. If there’s a choice between ADS Speed and Extra Control, Control always takes priority due to MK47’s sharp recoil pattern, but there are ways to balance things out.

Here are the best calibration settings for MK47 in Delta Force:

The settings increase Firing Stability by four percent and add 16 percent of Extra Control. You can also adjust the stock to get more ADS Speed or Firing Stability, depending on your playstyle and how comfortable you are with the current setup.
