Warfare map, Fault

New Warfare map, Fault, comes with a few unique features. Much like Cyclone has swimming and jet skis, Fault introduces dense fog as a unique weather condition. It can turn the tides of battle, depending on how you take advantage of it.

If sitting down in the fog isn’t for you, you can take to the skies with the F-45A fighter jet. It’s a new vehicle for you to give these vintage ruins a makeover in a dogfight.

Recon Operator, Raptor

Raptor is the first new Recon Operator since Delta Force launched. He offers surveillance and intel using drones to disrupt enemy lines. His passives are different, depending on the mode. In Warfare, the screen lights up when the enemies are targeting you, allowing you to instantly deploy the Wing Cam. In Operations, instead of lighting up the screen, enemies leave footprints that Raptor can scan to also learn their Operator, gear, and location.

Wing Cam is a camera that you can deploy by targeting enemies. It marks their position, and after some time, they can destroy it to reveal Raptor’s position. Silver Wing is a manually controlled drone that can mark targets within its 90m field of view. It also has an EMP grenade that you can drop manually or via the self-destruct feature.

Last but not least, his throwable is an EMP grenade. It disables electronic equipment, including some attachments and sights.

Weapons, MK47 and Marlin lever-action rifle

In the weapon department, War Ablaze features an MK47 assault rifle and a Marlin lever-action marksman rifle. We don’t know if these weapons are available across multiple classes, but at the very least, expect the assault rifle to be available on Assault and the lever-action on Recon to pair with Raptor’s bounty-hunting aesthetic.

TDM Minimode

Apart from the new map, there’s a new mode: Team Deathmatch. It’s an 8v8 game mode with no vehicles and pure gunplay until one of the teams reaches enough kills to secure a win. There are no teammate rescues, Respawn Beacons, or certain call-ins.

Operations updates

In the Operations mode, there are two new special missions in the Tide Prison: Operation Warden and Operation Raven. They task you with infiltrating the Tide Prison to take down both Raven and the prison’s Warden. While you’re at it, the Layali Grove map has also been transformed to fit the season’s name with the Wildfire event.

All this comes alongside improvements on console, a new season pass, a loot ownership system for Operations, buffs to Tempest and Hackclaw, and a collaboration with SAW, which includes a skin for D-Wolf.
