With a $200,000 prize pool up for grabs, eight of the world’s most formidable teams will be battling out on the CS:GO servers for a shot at tournament glory. ESL One Belo Horizonte will be held from June 13 to 17, with the playoffs being hosted in the Mineirinho Arena on June 16 and 17.

Contenders will compete in the standard GSL-style format that ESL implements in all of its tournaments. This means best-of-one initial matches will precede best-of-three elimination, winners’ and decider matches.

Separated into two groups consisting of four teams, only two teams will continue on to the playoffs during the weekend. The group stage will reach its conclusion on Friday, June 15, when the last two competitors qualify in each group’s decider matches. Then the best-of-three semifinals will start the next day on June 16 and the best-of-five grand final will follow on Sunday, June 17.

Group A

  • FaZe Clan vs. Ghost Gaming (June 13, 9am CT)
  • Space Soldiers vs. SK Gaming (June 13, 9am CT)
  • Elimination Match (June 13, 6:20pm CT)
  • Winners’ Match (June 14, 12:30pm CT)

Many notable teams have also made roster changes prior to the event. FaZe has Jorgen “cromen” Robertsen standing in for several events with an unknown timetable, while Mousesports has former Cloud9 star Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert acting as a temporary substitute for Tomas “oskar” Stastny. Ghost Gaming also found their way into the event by signing the former Torqued trio.
