When does WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic release?

It's almost here.

On April 19, Blizzard Entertainment unveiled plans to continue with its World of Warcraft Classic era content by moving into Wrath of the Lich King once Burning Crusade Classic reached its conclusion.

With TBC Classic content all out and available, the developer recently announced availability for the upcoming hero class Death Knight. The new class is playable by all races and starts at level 55. Making it available just prior to the new expansion release is the first step in preparing players for the challenges they will face in Northrend.

When will Wrath of the Lich King Classic release?

WoW Wrath of the Lich King Classic will launch on Sept. 26 at 5pm CT. The release will be at the same time globally across all regions. At that time, players will be able to begin their journey through Northrend and take on all of the quests, dungeons, and initial raids it has to offer.

Since the release of WOTLK Classic is just around the corner, Blizzard released the official global release times to reduce confusion and release chaos to a minimum. As expected, the expansion will hit the live servers at the same time globally, so there won’t be any guilds falling behind the curve and facing disadvantages.

Here’s the complete list of the exact release time worldwide:

  • Los Angeles – Sept. 26, 3pm PDT
  • New York – Sept. 26, 6pm EDT
  • São Paolo – Sept. 26, 7pm BRT
  • London – Sept. 26, 11pm BST
  • Paris – Sept. 27, 12am CEST
  • Cape Town – Sept. 27, 12am SAST
  • Ankara – Sept. 27, 1am TRT
  • Moscow – Sept. 27, 1am MSK
  • Abu Dhabi – Sept. 27, 2am GST
  • Taipei – Sept. 27, 6am CST
  • Seoul – Sept 27, 7am KST
  • Sydney – Sept. 27, 8am AEST

We hope you’ve armed yourself to the teeth with new gear, consumables, and knowledge of the undead so all you’ll need to do once WOTLK Classic launches is board a ship in either Orgrimmar or Stormwind and start slaying the undead in Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra.

If you missed out on the Scourge Invasion and Zombie Plague, you can always boost your character with either Epic or Heroic boosts that immediately boost a single character to 70 allowing you to set sail for Northrend as soon as you’re ready.

We wish you the best of luck while leveling and see you in Dalaran.
