Ludwig is putting Disguised Toast, Valkyrae, and more through their own Olympics in the Streamer Games

Streamers and physical competition. What could go wrong?

Have you ever wanted to watch the Olympics but with way fewer athletic people competing? Well, Ludwig’s Streamer Games promises exactly that, with content creators competing in Olympic events—and some new competitions invented for the event.

Co-created by offbrand, the production company Ludwig co-founded with friends from the streaming and esports production space, and Red Bull, Ludwig’s Streamer Games already has an impressive lineup featuring names like Disguised Toast, Valkyrae, LilyPichu, and Jasontheween. And if the event trailer is anything to go by, we might even get to see Cloud9 Super Smash Bros. Melee legend Mang0 do some rhythmic gymnastics, which should be worth the price of admission all by itself.

The trailer also reveals some of the twists on Olympic sports you’ll see at the Streamer Games. That includes Ludwig’s infamous tungsten cube, a gag gift his chat bought for him during one of his Amazon shopping spree streams. The Tungsten Cube Toss is an official event in the Streamer Games, and it’s no joke; the cube is 45 pounds and was last seen plummeting directly through the roof of a Tesla. If Ludwig is planning on using the same cube for the toss, it will be 29 pounds heavier than the ball used in the Olympic men’s shot put competition. Good luck with that, streamers.

Other events include the ominously non-descriptive inclusion of gymnastics, as well as the “1m + 99m Dash,” however that’s different from the standard 100 meters Olympians run.

Ludwig’s Streamer Games run from Aug. 17 to 18 and will be live on Ludwig’s YouTube channel, the Mogul Moves Twitch channel, and Red Bull’s Twitch channel. Tickets are also being sold for fans who want to attend the games.

If nothing else, the event is sure to inject some good content into the streaming ether, and also help with any Olympic hangover you might be nursing.
