Silent Hill Townfall release date reportedly leaked

Buckle up, horror fans; Silent Hill Townfall release date seems to have leaked, and it’s apparently scheduled to launch sooner than expected.

Konami’s beloved psychological horror franchise made a grand return in 2022 with the excellent Silent Hill 2 remake. Since then, the company has published Silent Hill: The Short Message–a free-to-play, PT-style game, and Silent Hill f–a brand new entry in the franchise set in 1960s rural Japan.

Next in line is the Silent Hill Townfall, currently in development at Screen Burn and Anapurna Interactive, about which we have seen next to nothing except a minute-long teaser trailer from 2022.

Rumors have been swirling around about Silent Hill Townfall’s potential re-reveal and launch, and we finally seem to have a release date, via a deleted store listing.

When is Silent Hill Townfall’s release date?

Silent Hill Townfall is expected to launch on March 26, 2026, according to the retailer site Liverpool Mexico. We can’t confirm the credibility of this retailer, but the listing has since been removed, though you can find a screenshot of it on the Polish site CD Action.

Interestingly, the Xbox Partner Preview event is on Nov. 20, 2025, where the Silent Hill 2 remake is heavily rumored to be revealed, according to creator NateTheHate. As such, a one-two punch with Silent Hill 2 remake and Silent Hill Townfall wouldn’t be too far-fetched.

Both Resident Evil Requiem and Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake are scheduled to launch next year in February and March, respectively, and if Silent Hill Townfall were to release in the same period, it would be the first time in more than a decade that these three iconic horror franchises would share the spotlight.

​In other news, Silent Hill 2 remake studio Bloober Team is currently developing a full-fledged remake of the first Silent Hill game. It’s still early in development, so don’t expect it to launch in 2026.
