How to get the light rifle mag in Once Human

The light rifle mag is one of the many accessories you can unlock while playing in Once Human. It’s an important attachment you can add to your favorite weapon, increasing its capabilities and making it an even greater asset than it already is.

Unlike many other equipment or weapons you use in Once Human, the light rifle mag is not a blueprint you can find. Instead, it’s at a particular location, partially hidden from you. Tracking down where you need to go can take some time. But once you know where to go, it’s only a matter of learning how to solve the riddle to unlock the light rifle mag and add it to your growing collection.

Where to get the light rifle mag in Once Human

You can find the light rifle mag while exploring the Chalk Peak region, a location you can only enter as you progress through the story. It’s recommended you reach at least level 31 while here. I was fine in the mid-20s, although it was difficult to face off against many of the enemies in the strongholds and towns. Thankfully for players, you won’t be fighting too much for the light rifle mag. It should be in the middle of nowhere, away from any creatures looking to hunt you down, close to where you can find Scarlet Calamus.

The light rifle mag is west of the Tall Grass Inn, the main friendly stronghold in the Chalk Peak region. Head over there, and you should see a camera on the ground. When you approach it, interact with the camera, and it’ll transform into an exact model of your character. The mimic will wave at you and then perform an emote. It performs this emote repeatedly while in range but waves goodbye if you go too far.

You need to perform the Take a Bow emote to the mimic. I had trouble doing this in my Once Human playthrough because I stood too close to it. You need to stand a good distance away and then perform the emote. You’ll know you’ve done it correctly when the mimic claps at your performance and transforms into a riddle solution rewards cube. Interact with the cube, and you’ll receive the light rifle mag accessory as a reward. You can expect other riddles like this one, such as when trying to find the Hammer Compensator.
