Which LoL champion says ‘Ugh, I lost another blade. I wonder who it’s in this time’?

How many LoL champs use a blade?

Sometimes LoLdle can be too easy, but other times the quote could reference so many League of Legends champions that you’re left guessing who said the quote.

Today’s puzzle definitely covers a wide range of League champions, so it isn’t clear from the outset who says the quote. Give it a little thought, however, and the answer will be revealed. Here’s the solution for the Sept. 22 daily LoLdle.

Who says, ‘Ugh, I lost another blade. I wonder who it’s in this time,’ in LoL?

The LoLdle quote on Sept. 22 is, “Ugh, I lost another blade. I wonder who it’s in this time.” The League champion who says this line is Talon.

Unlike yesterday, this LoLdle round was actually pretty tricky. There are so many League champs that have swords and blades, and nothing from the outset seemed to give anyone in particular away. That’s why it took me a few guesses, which included the likes of Yone, Yasuo, and Aatrox.

Then I gave it a little more thought. To lose a blade in someone must be a reference to it being thrown, so I switched to champs that I knew threw blades. I went Shaco first, then Talon—and I was correct! There’s a few more it could reference too, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it took you until the audio clue to guess who it is.

Talon’s Rake ability sees him throw a fan of knives at an enemy before they withdraw back to him. It’s easy to understand that a blade could lodge itself in an enemy, and therefore, Talon would be wondering why he didn’t get it back—but I digress.

The champion says this line as a “joke” so you’d only be able to hear it if you picked Talon. He’s fallen off quite heavily in the meta; the Blade’s Shadow has a mediocre 49 percent win rate and just a 1.1 percent pick rate according to U.GG, and with so many other blade-wielding champs higher up the tier list, few players would one-shot today’s LoLdle unless they knew Talon inside and out.
