CFO are feeding a nation of hungry fans with fried chicken thanks to their performance at MSI 2025

Another reason to support the underdogs.

CTBC Flying Oyster are serving up more than just wins at MSI 2025 because, based on their clutch tournament performances, they’re giving away buckets of fried chicken.

After storming through the LCP playoffs, the champions have ignited a wave of excitement back home in Taiwan. As per their League of Legends Taiwan Facebook post, CFO are celebrating each kill and match win by giving away fried chicken to their fans. Each kill by one of their players at MSI adds 10 filets of fried chicken, while a match win in a series results in a whooping 100 filets of fried chicken added to the tally.

In their first match in MSI 2025 against the defending World Champion T1, they pushed their opponents to their limits and brought it to a decider. They lost the final game, but they managed to score 1,010 filets of fried chicken by getting 81 kills while also winning two matches in the series.

With a total of 330 filets of fried chicken, Chiu “Doggo” Tzu-Chuan, the Taiwanese team’s AD carry, added the most to the bucket. It is a beautiful gesture, to say the least, and gives fans more of a reason to cheer their team from home.

Fried chicken and League have an old savory connection. In the past, the LCK Arena in Korea distributed the dish to fans for free when Faker reached 1,000 games.

Minor regions are often seen as underdogs at international tournaments, facing off against the world’s strongest teams and chasing that elusive upset. Earlier this year, CFO proved they have what it takes to topple the giants with a stellar showing at the First Stand tournament.

Now, with fried chicken on the line and a nation rallying behind them, cheering for the underdogs has never been more satisfying. CFO will face Movistar KOI next in the lower brackets, and fans would love for them to have a longer run at the tournament.
